ABout the Center

The Energy and Environment Policy Center is launching a research project focused on developing strategic policy pathways to make marine carbon dioxide removal, especially ocean alkalinity enhancement (OAE), more feasible at both local and national levels. We’ll be exploring questions of regulation, permitting, and monitoring, while also engaging with the broader legal, scientific, and policy community working on climate technology. This project is intentionally open-ended: members will have the opportunity to shape its direction, contribute to original research, and build relationships with experts and organizations in the growing field of carbon removal.
