About the Center

This project will assess the implementation and impact of two recent Connecticut laws—Public Act 24-5 and Public Act 23-127—designed to improve access to mental health care for survivors of sexual violence. We will evaluate whether these policies are effectively reaching low-income and uninsured survivors, particularly those facing structural barriers such as stigma or lack of information about their rights. Our approach includes qualitative research, policy analysis, and the development of an outreach brochure to inform underserved communities of their rights and available resources.
