2023-2024 PROJECT

The Critical Technology Export Controls Project in the Technology Policy Center studied the effect of American export controls on Chinese tech companies.

We partnered with the Yale Foreign Policy Initiative, Jon Pelson (author of Wireless Wars), and the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy to analyze the impact of forcing Chinese firms to turn to their “second-best” suppliers.
