Foreign Policy Center: The China Perceptions Project
2023-2024 Project
The China Perceptions Project in the Foreign Policy Center (in partnership with the Yale Foreign Policy Initiative) examined government, academic, and media reactions in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Palestinian, Israel, Iran, and Turkey) and in the PRC to China’s recent attempts to mediate between Iran and Saudi Arabia. The project also investigated China’s reinvigorated efforts to contribute to resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict through its Special Envoy for the Middle East.
